Mr. Paul Ed McClellan

October 23, 1964 - July 16, 2012

Paul (Ed) McClellan, 47, of North Vernon, passed away July 16, 2012 at his fathers house.

Born October 23, 1964 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Paul was the son of Lowell McClellan and the late Martha Cornett McClellan. He married Primadonna Daugherty on June 30, 1990. She survives.

Paul was a member of Vernon Baptist Church, North Vernon RC Club and Fun Wheeler RC Club in Madison. He attended Jennings County High School where he was an award winning wrestler. He had been involved with Relay for Life for several years and had been involved in multiple fundraisers supporting cancer patients. He was employed at Seymour Tubing and had been previously employed at Aisin for 18 years. Paul enjoyed racing RC cars, working on computers, graphic art and being with his family.

Mr. McClellan is survived by his father, wife, a son, Christopher (Lauren) McClellan of Anderson, a sister, Vicky (Charlie) McDaniel of North Vernon, a niece Megan McDaniel of Spencer, a nephew, Levi McDaniel of North Vernon and a special family friend, Jeanne Stainbrook of North Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his mother, grandparents and great grandparents.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Services. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 4 - 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Rev. Don Morris will officiate. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in North Vernon.
