Mr. Paul L. Maschino

August 30, 1923 - February 10, 2015

Paul L. Maschino, 91, of Louisville, passed away at 6:11 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg.

Born August 30, 1923, in Jennings County, Paul was the son of Victor and Ruth (Hawk) Maschino. He married Mary Catherine Gilligan, and she preceded him in death.

Paul served in the United States Army. He retired from General Electric Company, where he was employed as a machine operator. He enjoyed fox hunting, farming, gardening, mowing grass, and camping.

Survivors include two sons, Michael (Karen) Maschino of Commiskey and Daniel (Julie) Maschino of Louisville; two daughters, Mary Alice (Mike) McConkey of Colorado and Ruth (Herman) Pawley of Elizabethtown, KY; one brother, Amos (Dorene) Maschino of Seymour; two sisters, Agnes Euler of Columbus and Irene (J.) Simmons of North Vernon; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife and parents; son, David Maschino; sister, Juanita Maschino; and four brothers, Floyd, Leroy, Arthur and Roger Maschino.

Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2015, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Four Corners, with Rev. Jerry Byrd officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2015, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. A rosary service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, at Calvery Cemetery in Louisville, KY.
