Paul D. Caraway, 75, of North Vernon, passed away at 11:35 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at his residence.

Born June 17, 1940, in Bedford, Paul was the son of the late Othel and Phyllis (Brown) Caraway. He graduated from Williams High School, and later married Bonnetta Terry. She survives.

Paul served in the United States Army, and retired from the restaurant business, where he worked as a supervisor. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnetta; son, Christophor Caraway of Hiram, GA; two daughters, Dianna Miller and Jennifer White, both of North Vernon;  six brothers, Thomas, Charles and Daniel Caraway, all of Bedford, Gregory Caraway of Bloomington, Stephen Caraway of Needmore, IN, and Vincent Caraway of Omaha, NE; one sister, Mary Swazey of Canby, OR; six grandchildren, Amanda Acton, Justin and Michael Miller, Santana and Cheyenne Ross, and Taylor Caraway; and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Raymond, Robert, James, and George Caraway; and two sisters, Cecilia Caraway and Anna Fisher.
