Mr. Paul Beeman

Paul Beeman, 77, of Butlerville, passed away at 12:10 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2014, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

Born July 12, 1936, in Moonsville, IN, Paul was the son of the late Herman and Opal Carson Beeman.

Paul worked for 27 years at Arvin Industries, and then at Milestone Construction until he retired. He was a member of Holton Masonic Lodge #624, Moose Lodge, AmVets and Eagles. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and was an avid IU basketball fan.

Survivors include a son, Carl (Nancy) Beeman of Butlerville; two brothers, Carl Beeman of Butlerville and Sam Beeman of North Vernon; a sister, Mary Boyd of North Vernon; three grandchildren, Kane and Sarah Beeman, and Grant (Lindsay) Gibson; and great grandchild Gabriel Beeman.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a son, Paul "Dink" Beeman; two brothers, Herman and Billy Beeman; and a sister, Joan Muir.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service in North Vernon. Rev. Lilly Ellis will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home, with a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be at Tanglewood Cemetery in Ripley County.
