Paul R. Badgett, 62, of North Vernon, passed away at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at home.

No service is planed at this time. Cremation was chosen. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery. Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service are entrusted with the arrangements.

Born on July 18, 1961, in Louisville, Kentucky, Paul was the loving son of Louis J. "Red" and Marilyn R. (Silliman) Badgett.

Paul had worked as a truck driver for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed going fishing and visiting the casino. Most of all, Paul cherished spending time with family.

Left to cherish his memory is sister, Mary Jo Badgett of North Vernon; niece, Ilese (Scott) Anderson of Louisville, KY; nephew, Tony Brock of North Vernon; great nieces, Abby (Hayden) Decker, Carissa and Emily Sabelhaus.

Memorials can be made to the funeral home to the Organization of the Donor's Choice.
