Mr. Patrick Wayne Noonan Sr.

January 31, 1941 - July 23, 2015

Patrick Wayne Noonan, Sr., 74, of North Vernon, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

Born January 31, 1941, in Walkerton, IN, Patrick was the son of the late George and Dorothy (Rottmiller) Noonan. On June 11, 1960, he married Nancy Schaffer, and she preceded him in death on September 26, 2012.

Patrick served in the Army National Guard, and was employed as a toolmaker at Eaton Corporation. He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, where he served as deacon. He formerly served as Head Elder at Rochester Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include daughter Dana (Gary) Woodall of North Vernon; son, Patrick (Jennifer) Noonan of Merrillville; brother, Mike Noonan of Six Lakes, MI; two sisters, Kathleen Merrill of Hendersonville, NC, and Wendy Irene Logue of Shelby, NC; three grandchildren, Ann Marie and Natasha Noonan and Jessica Uribe; and two great grandchildren, Miguel Angel Uribe and Matthew Alexander Uribe.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2015, at Seventh-day Adventist Church in North Vernon. Rev. Harvey Kornegay will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the church.
