Patricia "Pat" Kay Zohrlaut, 76, of Columbus, passed away at 11:58 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at Keepsake Village of Columbus.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at St. Mary's Cemetery. Rev Chris Wadelton will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service.
Born February 19,1944, in Greensburg, Patricia was the daughter of William Joseph and Kathryn Elizabeth (Mick) Zohrlaut.
Patricia had attended St. Mary's School and graduated from North Vernon High School in 1962. She went on to work as a dental hygienist for the late Dr. Harrison Lawyer in Columbus, and after his retirement, for Dr. Scott Barrix in Columbus. She enjoyed gardening and had grown beautiful flowers in her back yard. She took Model A trips with "Uncle Bob" Burns. Patricia went to garage sales every chance she could and loved watching Wheel of Fortune. She loved eating at Texas Roadhouse, where the rolls were always her favorite. Patricia enjoyed the great outdoors and especially cherished spending time with family and friends.
Patricia is survived by her brother, Ron (Jean) Zohrlaut of North Vernon; nieces, Missy Tressler of Columbus, Jana (Shane) Smock of North Vernon; nephews, Doug (Shannon) Zohrlaut of North Vernon, Lance (Kelly) Zohrlaut of North Vernon; great nephews, Hunter Foist, Keaton Foist, Dylan Smock, Evan Zohrlaut, Drew Zohrlaut, Reed Zohrlaut, Lane Zohrlaut, and Ty Zohrlaut; great nieces, Caitlin (Josh) Dunham, Courtney Zohrlaut, Lindsay Foist, and Bria Foist; great great nieces, Charleigh Dunham, and Parker Dunham.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Kathryn Zohrlaut, and her lifelong companion, Bob Burns.
Memorials can be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or the St. Bartholomew School - Outdoor Learning Lab.
