Pamela E. Taylor, 62, of North Vernon, passed away at 9:40 a.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.

Born September 27, 1953, in North Tonawanda, New York, Pamela was the daughter of Floyd Varner, Sr. of Wallace, N. Carolina and the late Dorothy Clever Varner.

Pamela worked as a nursing assistant in the healthcare industry.  She enjoyed flea markets, time with family and friends and reading.

In addition to her father, Pamela is survived by her step-mother, Claudette Varner of Wallace, N. Carolina; two sons, Brian (Heather) Sury and Matthew (Adrienne Mangus) Sury of Conneaut, Ohio;  four brothers, Paul Varner of Toledo, Ohio, Terry Varner of Willowick, Ohio, John Varner of Roaming Shores, Ohio and James Varner of Albany, Georgia; six sisters, Jane Blankenship of Middlefield, Ohio, Judy Wiggins of Burton, Ohio, Eva Jaite of Chardon, Ohio, Neva Sargent of Chesterland, Ohio, Janet Keener of Hamden Township, Ohio and Joannie Stokes of Warren, Ohio; five grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and her cousin and caregiver, Phyllis Baldwin of North Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother, Floyd "Munson" Varner, Jr.
