Norma J. Linney, 82, of Norman, passed away at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

A funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service.  Rev. Dan Corbin will officiate.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.

Born May 13, 1935, in Madison, Norma was the daughter of the late Edward Davis and Carrie Davis Campfield.

Norma retired from Muscatatuck State Developmental Center after 35 years of employment.  She was a member of North Vernon First Christian Church.  Norma loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Norma is survived by two daughters, Linda (Allen) Miller of Liberty, IN and Vickie Luedeman of Norman; three grandchildren, Janet Long, Robert Luedeman and Travis Luedeman; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Lela Staples; and two brothers, Jim Davis and Edward Davis.
