Nancy Swindall, 68, of North Vernon, passed away at 8:57 a.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at the Columbus Regional Hospital.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service. Rev. Ricky Persons will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. till the time of the service.

Born on November 5, 1952, in Jennings County, Nancy was the loving daughter of J.W. and Lula Belle (Campfield) Marksberry. She was united in marriage to Eddie Swindall Sr. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2017.

Nancy worked throughout her life in factories. She loved and cherished making memories with her family more than anything.

Nancy is survived by daughter, Rosa Branum of North Vernon; brother, Marvin Marksberry; sisters, Carol Hazelwood of Deputy, and Bonnie Lacey of North Vernon; grandchildren, Tamika (Chase Riley) Branum, Austin Branum, Eddie Swindall III, Kevin Swindall, Samantha Barnes; several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.W.  and Lula Belle Marksberry; son, Eddie Swindall Jr.; sister, Juanita Deppe; brother, Terry Marksberry.

Memorials can be made through the funeral home to the family for funeral expenses.
