Namoi K. Ruark

November 24, 1942 - May 20, 2014

Naomi K. Ruark, 71, of North Vernon, passed away at 11:39 PM Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at King's Daughters Hospital in Madison.

Born November 24, 1942, Naomi was the daughter of John and Ruby King Brussard Marinas. In 1968 Naomi married Thomas Ruark, he preceded her in death in 2004.

She worked at MSDC for 14 years before retiring. She loved her pets and shopping.

Naomi is survived by her sons, John Pavy of KS and Brian Ruark of North Vernon; daughters, Teri Brading of SC and Shelly Geer of North Vernon; a sister, Mary Beasley of North Vernon; brother, Billy Curvin of FL; 12 grandchildren, Tim Ruark, Jacqueline Cline, Patrick, Tre, Brandon and Megan Ruark, Rachel Pavy, Samantha Short, Shanda Geer, Tom Brading, Addie Brading, and Mandy Geiffer, and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Naomi was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Information

A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 3:15 PM at Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service.
