Mildred J. "Millie" Jones, 89, of North Vernon passed away at 1:35 P.M. on Saturday at Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood.

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, April 3, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. at Vernon Cemetery. Roger Taylor will officiate.

Born August 4, 1931, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, Millie was the daughter of Earl and Pearl Crawford Boggs. She married John D. Jones on June 10, 1950. He preceded her in death on August 24, 2012.

Millie had worked as a bookkeeper for Farm Bureau Co-Op and then Dunlap's Lumber Company until they closed.

She is survived by sons, Bradley A. (Terri) Jones of Greensburg, and Bret D. Jones of North Vernon; grandchildren, Bradley A. (Jessie) Jones II, and Ashley L. (Jon) Bauman; great-grandchildren, Lorelai and Logan Bauman, and Alex Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
