Mrs. Mildred Faye Cline

December 01, 1912 - October 12, 2013

Mildred Faye Cline, 100 of North Vernon passed away at 12:00 AM Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Silver Oaks Health Campus in Columbus.

Born December 1, 1912 in Jefferson County, Mildred was the daughter of Thomas and Bertha Sipe Perkinson. She married Clarence Cline December 12, 1930. He preceded her in death on August 1, 1977.

She was a homemaker, and a lifelong member of Bethany Baptist Church. She enjoyed being outdoors, and especially working in her yard.

Mildred is survived by one son, Irvin Cline of North Vernon; four grandchildren, Susan, David, Karen, and Cammie Cline; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Don Cline, a grandson, Todd Cline, great grandson, Nicholas Cline, two sisters, Maysel Boyd, and Alma Perkinson, and two brothers, Everett and Thomas Leslie Perkinson.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Vernon Cemetery.
