Michael T. Root, 44, of North Vernon passed away at 2:55 A.M. Friday, May 22, 2015, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born April 23, 1971, in Seymour, Michael was the son of Michael and Deborah Hackney Root.
Arrangements were entrusted to Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service.
He attended Jennings County High School, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his father, Michael Root of North Vernon; sister, Kelley Ferguson of North Vernon; two daughters, Alisha Brewer of North Vernon, and Jerryka Root of Seymour.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Root.
