Michael A. Perkins, 54, Grammer, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 23, 2021, at home after a short battle with cancer.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service. Rev. Frank McGee will officiate. Burial will be in the Bear Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021.

Born on November 10, 1966, in Columbus, Michael was the loving son of Bill Sr. and Marilyn (Wills) Perkins. He was united in marriage to Brenda Renoll. She survives.

Michael owned and operated Perkins Termite and Pest Control. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, playing poker with his friends, riding around in his golf cart. Most of all, Michael loved spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Brenda Perkins of Grammer, survivors include daughters, Nicole (Justin) Bradshaw of North Vernon, and Andrea (Jordan Monteleone) Boyd of Columbus; brothers, Bill (Dru) Perkins of North Vernon, and Steve (Sheila) Perkins of Grammer; grandchildren, Gary and Catherine Bradshaw of North Vernon, Karly and Kallen Monteleone of Columbus.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Sr. and Marilyn Perkins; father in law, Edward Renoll.
