Michael L. Jeffries, 63, of Milan, passed away at 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg.

A rosary will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service on Tuesday, July 18, 2017.  Visitation will follow from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.  A graveside service will take place at Vernon Cemetery at 3:15 p.m.  Rev. Jerry Byrd will officiate.

Born March 20, 1954, in Beech Grove, Michael was the son of the late Donald and Dorothy Wells Jeffries.  He graduated from Jennings County High School in 1973. He was employed in maintenance at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

Michael is survived by two sisters, Karen Carrico or Moores Hill and Kathleen Jeffries of Indianapolis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Dorothy Jeffries.
