Michael Dane Hall, 30, of North Vernon passed away Friday, June 15, 2024 at his home.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service. A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Vernon Cemetery. David Neal will officiate.

Born October 8, 1993 in Seymour, Michael was the loving son of Robin D. Hall and Joy Smith Hall.

Michael was a 2012 graduate of Jennings County High School and attended Ivy Tech State College.  He was employed at North Vernon Beverage and was a former sales engineer at Sweetwater Sound in Fort Wayne.  Michael was an avid music enthusiast, proficient in the guitar and drums.  He enjoyed playing gigs and jamming with friends.  He was also a great skateboarder and advocate for the North Vernon Skate Park.

Michael is survived by his mother, Joy; sister, Christy (Cory Herr) Hall; nephew, Emmett Herr; grandfather, Ron Heavern; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robin; his paternal grandparents, Alma Ramey and Bobby Hall; his maternal grandparents, Cecil and Shirley Smith.

Memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to the Tony Hawk Foundation, the ASPCA, or the Humane Society.
