Michael Lee Craig I, 58, North Vernon passed away at 10:05 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at his home in North Vernon, Indiana.
Born March 6, 1952 in Columbus, IN he was the son of Max Craig Sr. and the late Helen Wilson Craig. He married Melissa Terry on August 26, 2005. She survives.
He worked at the Net Transport Company in Non-Emergency Medical Transport. He worked as a welder most of his career. He served in the United States Navy. He loved the outdoors, fishing, woodcarving, drawing and spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa; father, Max Craig of Butlerville; five daughters ,Kerri Bruce of Seymour, Tia Stanley of Jeffersonville, Patricia Rickman of Portland, OR, Kacie B of IN, Kristi Craig of North Vernon and son, Michael Craig II of IN; a sister, Pamela Thomas-Craig of North Vernon; 20 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, a brother Max Craig Jr. and a sister Jeannie Wilson-Craig.
