Mr. Matthew Wayne Talkington

Matthew Wayne Talkington, 41 of Elizabethtown, passed away at 12:30 AM on Monday, October 08, 2012 at his residence.
Born March 8, 1971 in Columbus, Matthew was the son of Ronald and Ruth Dinn Talkington. He had been employed at Aisin USA Manufacturing in Seymour for 23 years.
Mr. Talkington was a giant fan of KISS and enjoyed attending concerts. Matthew also enjoyed kayaking and coaching baseball. His greatest love of all though was his two boys.
Survivors include his parents, Ronald and Ruth both of Scipio, two sons, Alex and Jacob Talkington both of Scipio, two brothers, Mark Talkington of Scipio and John Michael (Elizabeth) Talkington of Columbus, three nieces, Mindy, Sidney, and Emily Talkington, and a nephew, John Michael Talkington.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Bob and Tillie Talkington and Vernon and Tish Dinn.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service in North Vernon with Rev. Ricky Persons officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday and from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday. Burial will be at Bear Creek Cemetery.
