Mary Maxine Hall, 84, of North Vernon, passed away Monday, May 18, 2009 at 10:46 PM at St. Vincent's Hospital of Indianapolis.

Born September 18, 1924 in Bloomington, IN, she was the daughter of the late Millard and Dessie May (Mahan) Joy. She was a 1943 graduate of Helmsburg High School and later married David W. Hall on May 20, 1971.

Mrs. Hall was employed by Arvins for 22 years and retired in 1972. She was a member of the Hayden Chapter of Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband and a daughter, Sandy West of Nashville, Indiana, two sons, Joe (Delores) Hall of Sante Fe, Texas and Rodney (Marcia) Hall of Keyport, Washington, and a daughter, Loretta Hall (Andy) Morgan of Winchester, a son-in-law Philip (Sharon)West of Columbus, three sisters, Betty Bright, Wilma Stewart and Margaret Allender all of Nashville, Indiana, seven grandchildren, Pierson, Bradley, David, Carrie, Stephen, Kenny and Kimberly, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two daughters Connie Childs and Deborah Collins, a brother, James Warren Joy, a sister-in-law, Donna Joy and brother-in-laws, Mark Bright and James "Tut" Stewart.

Funeral Information

There will be no services, at Mrs. Hall's request.
