Mrs. Mary Hall

Mary L. Hall, 65, of Madison, passed away at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at her home.

Born on February 1, 1949, in Indianapolis, Mary was the daughter of Estol and Mary George Baxter. She graduated from North Vernon High School in 1967. On August 26, 1967, she married Terry Hall. He survives.

Mary had been employed as a cook in the school system. She had previously helped run Mary's CafAC. with her parents, had worked at Pfeiffer's Jewelry, and had her own wedding cake business. She was a member of Modern Ms. of Jennings County. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading her bible, antiques and auctions.

In addition to her husband, Terry, Mary is survived by her mother, Mary Baxter of Madison; daughter, Marti (Mike) Johnston of Madison; son, Bradley Hall of Washington; grandsons, Ryan Jenkins and Andrew (Kayla Gross) Jenkins; and sister, Alwyna Leonard.

She was preceded in death by her father, Estol.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Visitation will be on Friday, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
