Mark E. Doran, 65, of Bloomington, passed away at 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at his residence.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2016, at Vernon Cemetery.  Deacon Larry French will officiate.  Arrangements are in the care of Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service.

Born December 15, 1950, in Jennings County, Mark was the son of the late Edward and Edetta Terry Doran.  He married Judy Green on October 2, 1972.  She survives.

Mark had served in the U.S. Army and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Bloomington.

In addition to his wife, Judy, Mark is survived by two daughters, Raschelle (Ajabu) Doran-Brown of Indianapolis and Ashley (John) Davis of Grand Island, Florida; two brothers, Terry Spurgin of Arizona and Bruce Doran of Bloomingon; two sisters, Ruth Doran of Arizona and Amy Arthur of Ellettsville; and five grandchildren, Madison Myers, Leilani Brown, Sean Griffin, Nyla Brown and Korben Davis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Sean Doran; and three brothers, Grant, Frank and Eddie Doran.
