Marjorie Sue Miller McBride, 100, of Chicago, IL passed away peacefully at home on May 15, 2023.

Marjorie was the beloved wife of the late Robert C. McBride, the loving mother of Linda, Mary Susan, Robert (Mariclare), Dennis (Eileen), and Marjorie (Frank) Mejia and treasured grandmother of Melissa (Mitchell), Katie, Bob, Amy, Tom, and Zoe.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents Sudie and Albert Miller, and her brothers Ernest and Albert Jr. Marjorie was one of the many grandchildren of J.B. and Anna Mary Miller of North Vernon and a proud graduate of North Vernon High School — Class of 1941.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Byrd will officiate.

This is the organization that provided cornea transplants so that Marjorie could continue to pursue her passions of reading and puzzling.
