Mrs. Marilyn Huttelmayer

V. Marilyn Huttelmayer, 82 of North Vernon passed away on January 20, 2013 at Orchard Ridge Nursing Home in New Port Richey, Florida.

Born on November 2, 1930, in Terre Haute, Marilyn was the daughter of the late Hariel and Olive Daisy Thomas. She married Rev. Johnny Oren Huttelmayer on October 23, 1948. He survives.

Marilyn was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. She was a devout Christian, who was a member of The Lord's Chapel in North Vernon, and had attended Bible Center in Terre Haute, North Charlestown Church of God, Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Fellowship Baptist Church Lakeview Baptist Church and Metropolitan Ministries. She enjoyed painting and singing for her Lord.

In addition to her husband, Marilyn is survived by two sons, Johnny (Terry) Huttelmayer, II, of Indianapolis, and James Huttelmayer of Clarksville; two daughters, Brenda (Henry) Schweitzer of Lake Tapawingo, MO, and Marilyn Elaine (Keith) Lyle of Charlestown; a brother, Hariel Thomas of Florida; a sister, Judy Berry of Minnesota; grandchildren, Ginger Zell, Regina (Steve) Byerly, Stephan Schweitzer, Anthony (Amanda) Schweitzer, Angela Huttelmayer and April (David) Budd; step grandchildren, Amy (Brent) Ridenour, Robbie (Corey) Kennedy, Kristie (Daniel) Sheffield, John (Apryl) Kennedy and Jennifer Reese; great grandchildren, Monica and Dakota Byerly, Dustin Conover, Brittany and Trent Zell, Alex, Adrian and Abby Brummet, Shawna Budd and Renea Lynn Twigg; and many other loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents; sisters Irma, Billie and Bobbie; and grandson Christopher Michael Twigg.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service in North Vernon with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Rev. Mike Biggs will officiate. Burial will be at Otisco Cemetery.
