Mrs. Margaret Large

Margaret Louise Large, 66, of North Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, in Warren County, Ohio.

Born May 6, 1948, in North Vernon, Margaret was the daughter of the late David and Clara Byard Suhre. She married Robert Large on August 22, 1969. He passed away also on July 22, 2014.

A homemaker, Margaret enjoyed baking, quilting, gardening, bird watching and reading. She was a member of New Bethel United Methodist Church and New Bees Quilting Club. Two years ago, she moved with her husband after his retirement back to North Vernon from Springfield, OH.

Survivors include her mother, Clara Suhre of North Vernon; two sons, Nathan Robert Large of Erie, PA, and Evan David Large (Tsui Yi Cheah) of Aurora, IL; two brothers, Bill and John Suhre, both of North Vernon; sister, Donna Kreutzjans of North Vernon; and granddaughter, Evelyn Large of Aurora, IL.

She was preceded in death by her father, husband, and daughter, Claire Catherine Large.

Funeral Information

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2014, at New Bethel United Methodist Church. Rev. Connie Barr will officiate. Visitation will be on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service.
