Mr. Lowell N. Stout

August 31, 1948 - December 03, 2013

Lowell N. Stout, 65, of Butlerville, passed away at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

Born on August 31, 1948, in Seymour, Lowell was the son of the late Basil Stout and Eleanor Woolf Stout Napier. He married Patricia Mitchell on September 20, 1967. She preceded him in death on April 24, 2013.

Lowell retired from Cummins, Inc. He was a member of Butlerville Mennonite Church. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.

Survivors include two daughters, Angela Stout of North Vernon and Melissa Boyce of Butlerville; a brother, Russell Stout of Murfreesboro, TN; a sister, Karen Vaughn of North Vernon, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia; son, Kevin Stout; two brothers, Stanley and Paul Stout; and two grandchildren.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2013, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Rev. Dale Boyd will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
