Lori Ann Eder, 64, of North Vernon, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at home.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service. Rev. Dale Boyd will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the start of the service.

Born on February 15, 1960, in Seymour, Lori was the loving daughter of Robert Gene and Arline Francis (Pickett) Furst. She was united in marriage to Frank Eder in 1987. He survives.

Lori graduated from Jennings County High School. She worked for 18 years at the Muscatatuck State Developmental Center as a secretary for the Fire and Transportation Department. She worked for 7 years at the Jennings Health Care and 5 years at the Pickett Funeral Home. Lori enjoyed fishing and raising a flower garden. Most of all she dearly loved and cherished her adoring grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Frank Eder of North Vernon, survivors include sons, Robert (Kaylie) Eder of North Vernon, and Ryan (Heather) Eder of North Vernon; daughter, Jamie Shatto of Columbus; brother, Doug Furst of North Vernon; sisters, Becky Hon of Holton, and Susie Driver of North Vernon; grandchildren, Katelynn Shatto, Sydni Burton, Leah Eder, Lucas Eder, Mason Eder, and Eleanor Ann Eder; step mother, Peggy Furst.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Arline Furst; daughter, Amanda Wilson.
