Mrs. Loretta Irene Ford

December 07, 1935 - July 12, 2013

Loretta Irene Ford, 77, of North Vernon passed away at 1:05 AM Friday, July 12, 2013 at her residence.

Born in Connersville December 7, 1935, Loretta was the daughter of William and Violet Irene Parvis Murphy Taylor. She married William Joe Ford. He preceded her in death on December 22, 2012.

She graduated from Nursing School with honors and worked as an LPN. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching WWE Wrestling.

She is survived by two sons, Glenn and Robert Ford of Indianapolis; granddaughters, Lisa Ford, Trinity Hobson, Natalie Ison, and Brandi King; four great grandchildren, Danielle McClaron, Drew West, Draegon and Ariana Ison; one great-great-granddaughter, Emmalynn McLarnon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral Information

Entombment will take place at 1:00 PM Monday, July 15, 2013 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greenwood. Arrangements were made in care of Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service.
