Ms. Lorena "Wink" Taylor

Lorena "Wink" Taylor, 76, of Butlerville passed away at 4:21 AM Monday, June 4, 2012 at King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison.

Born June 14, 1935 in Tampa, FL, Lorena was the daughter of Rollin and Anna Davis Taylor.

Lorena graduated from Short Ridge High School in Indianapolis and was a member of the Butlerville United Methodist Church and American Legion. She worked at MSDC for 10 years and then Jennings Villa before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, scrapbooking, her grandkids and her cats.

Ms. Taylor is survived by a son, Joseph Hickey of Nixa, Missouri; four daughters, Risa Stacks of North Vernon, Terrie Lewis of Madison, Sherrie Neff of Tulsa Oklahoma and Sara Pate of Highland City, Florida; seven grandchildren and twelve great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Leon Taylor, a sister, Deloris Wixer, and a granddaughter, Heather Ann Hickey.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 PM Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until the time of the service.
