Lonnie Tyler, 65 of North Vernon passed away on April 1, 2009 at 7:25 AM at St. Catherine Regional Hospital in Charlestown, Indiana.
Born February 13, 1944 in Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Mary (Simpson) Gunter. She later moved to Ripley County.
Lonnie was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and fishing.
Mrs. Tyler is survived by four sons, Roy Dale Brown, Floyd Lynn Brown, Kenny Lee Brown and Ricky Dean Brown all of North Vernon, four brothers, Roy Gunter and Ray Gunter of Holton, Gene Gunter and Willis Gunter of North Vernon and two sisters, Brenda Sandlin of North Vernon and Susan Rice of Versailles. Also surviving are three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
