Logan Tyler Mason, 19, of North Vernon, passed away at 4:15 a.m. on Friday, September 1, 2017 at his residence following a lengthy illness.

A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service.  Rev. Dan Denney will officiate.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.

Logan was born on December 31, 1997 in Columbus, IN.  He graduated from Jennings County High School in 2016.  He enjoyed video games, the game Magic, flying and cooking.  He worked with his father at R & K Recovery.  Logan was a member of Christ Way Christian Church.  He had wanted to be a game designer, pilot and cook.

He is survived by his parents, Ray and Casey Mason of North Vernon, and Lisa Sweet of Florida; four sisters, Paige Blevins and Sidney Mason of North Vernon, Brandi Wilson of Shelbyville, KY, and Abby Sweet of Florida; two brothers, Adam Wilson of Shelbyville, KY and Jerry Sweet of Florida; grandparents, Lester and JoAnn England of Columbus; aunt, Margaret McClintic and cousins, Jake and Tiffany McClintic.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Aline Mason.
