Linda Rose Tucker

Linda Rose Tucker, 71, of North Vernon passed away Friday, November 7, 2008 at St. Vincent - Jennings Hospital.

Born June 19, 1937 in Cairo, IL she was the daughter of Howard and Iva Ellis Thompson.

Linda was a member of the Nebraska Church of God, and worked in home health care. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, going to church and spending time with her family.

She is survived by three sons, Joe Tucker of North Vernon, Frank Tucker of Murfreesboro, TN, and Anthony Tucker of Moorehead, KY; one daughter, Paula Miles of Paoli, and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM Monday at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral Home with the Rev. Patrick Harrigan officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM till the time of service. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Tuesday at Vernon Cemetery.
