Mrs. Linda J. Hall

December 19, 1943 - August 25, 2010

Linda Jo Hall, 66, of North Vernon passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at her residence.

Born December 19, 1943 in Vincennes, IN., she was the daughter of the late Mitchell and Wilma Ashby Stassin. She married John G. Hall in January of 1964.

She graduated from Indiana University-Magna Cum Laude. She was employed by Cummins Engine Company where she worked in Corporate Finance and was a Director of Investment Relations and retired in 1998 after 30 years. Linda was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church and served on the St. Mary's Parish Council. She was a member of the United Way Board and the Wednesday Research Club. She enjoyed quilting, traveling and participating in public service.

She is survived by her husband, John G. Hall of North Vernon, sister, Marlene S. (Doug) King-Tetrick; a nephew, Jeff Vance and a great-nephew, Mitchell Vance all of Hartsville, SC.

Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in North Vernon with the Rev. Jonathan Myers officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Sawyer~Pickett Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Burial will be at the St. Mary's Cemetery in North Vernon, Indiana.
