Linda Sue Fletcher, 69, of North Vernon passed away at 3:40 PM on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at her home.
A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Sawyer – Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Rev. Dan Corbin will officiate. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday and from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Born November 4, 1953, in Lovett Township, Linda was the daughter of Andrew and Thelma Eppard Franks.
She retired from NAC where she worked as a supervisor. She had previously worked at Ezzo Meat Company. She loved crocheting, playing cards and spending time with her family.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Randall) Bonesteel of Paris Crossing; brothers, Tom, Raymond (June), and Larry Franks of North Vernon; sisters, Virginia Clark, Peggy (Rick) Hudson, and Nancy Perry of North Vernon; grandchildren, Brittany (Kenneth) Daniel of Shepherdsville, KY, Amanda (Tristian) Hanna of Holton, and Owen Bonesteel of Paris Crossing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Robert, George, William, Jerry, Delmar, Jack, and Jim Franks; brothers in law, Robert Perry, and Donnie Clark; sisters in law, Marjorie, Norma, Blanche, and Sue Franks.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Schneck Hospice.
