Leroy John Henry

Leroy John Henry, 45, of North Vernon, passed away Friday, June 20, 2008, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

Born June 9, 1963 in Portsmouth, VA, he was the son of Leroy and Maggie Thorpe Henry, they preceded him in death.

Mr. Henry was employed with Hatton's Carpet where he had laid carpet for several years. He enjoyed playing pool and spending time with family and children.

Mr. Henry is survived by a sister, Doris Henry of North Vernon.

Mr. Henry was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lena Proffitt.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be 12 PM, Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Sawyer~Pickett Funeral Home with the Rev. John Willis officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10 AM to time of service. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery.
