Ms. Leona Leckermeyer

Leona Leckermeyer, 90, of North Vernon passed away at 8:40 PM Friday, May 28, 2010 at her residence.

Born on June 21, 1919 in Seymour. She was the daughter of Raymond and Ruth A. Briner Clark.

Leona retired from Rovier Manufacturing in Columbus. She had worked in the clothing industry for 42 years.

She is survived by daughters, Linda (Don) Ray of Indianapolis, and Janie (Rodney) Beal of North Vernon; two brothers, Robert Clark of North Vernon, and Don Clark of Columbus; six grandchildren, Julie Wilder, Kurt Castor, Amber Ray, Jesse Beal, Ryan Beal, and Nicole Beal; and seven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Marvin and Wilford Clark; one sister, Helen Pollert; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Sawyer~Pickett Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be at the Vernon Cemetery.
