Keith D. Price, 54, of North Vernon, passed away at 6:23 a.m. on Saturday, December 24, 2016, at Summerfield Healthcare Center in Cloverdale, IN.

A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Center in North Vernon. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Born July 6, 1962, in Ft. Benning, Georgia, Keith was the son of Warren and Constance (Fischer) Price. He graduated from Northwest High School in Indianapolis in 1981, and University of Louisville in 1986 with a bachelor of science.

Keith had formerly been a police officer with the North Vernon Police Department. He had been a member of Bethel Baptist Church, the Muscatatuck Fraternal Order of Police, Phi Kappa Phi and the L Club of University of Louisville. He played football at University of Louisville, and coached middle school football in Jennings County.

Survivors include a daughter, Emily Price of North Vernon; two sons, Andrew Price of North Vernon and Kyle Price of Greenwood; a sister, Cathi Price-Page of Indianapolis; a brother, Dean Price of Noblesville; and granddaughter, Kynleigh Price.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kevin Price.
