Ms. Kathy Sue Minks

Kathy Sue Minks, 55, of Pekin, IN, passed away at 8:44 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN.

Born July 7, 1958, in Seymour, Kathy was the daughter of Rex and Edith Mae Minks of Louisville. She graduated from Southern High School in Louisville in 1976. She had been employed at Hazelwood Health and Rehab as a nurse aide.

Survivors include her parents; three daughters, Elizabeth Morgan of Clarksville, Stephanie Minks of Ramsey, IN, and Amanda (Adam) Wright of Pekin, IN; two sons, Gregory Minks of Ramsey, IN, and Christopher (Laura) Minks of Denton, TX; two brothers, Darrel and Billy Minks of Louisville; sister, Sherry White of Louisville; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 2014, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service in North Vernon. Pastor Scott Kollmann will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.
