Kathryn Bott, 82 of Malden, Mo, (formerly of North Vernon), passed away Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Missouri Southern Healthcare-Dexter.

Funeral services will be 2 PM, Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Sawyer~Pickett Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Westport Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 AM to time of service.

Born June 16, 1925 in Crab Orchard, KY, she was the daughter of Charles and Ethel Stapleston Johnson, they preceded her in death. She married William H. Bott on May 19, 1978, he preceded her in death on January 13, 1990.

Mrs. Bott was a member of the Christian Church at Westport and had been a fifty year member of the Order of Eastern Star of North Vernon.

Mrs. Bott is survived by two daughters, Donna Faye (Walker) Wolff of Batesville, IN, and Rita (David) Ritchie of Malden, MO, two sisters, Christine Wilson and Doris Asher both of Westport, two grandchildren, Tim Wolff of Osgood, IN, and Tammy Roell of Batesville, IN, and four grandchildren; Andrew and Duncan Wolff of Osgood, IN, and Abigail and Avery Elizabeth Roell of Batesville, IN.

Mrs. Bott was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William H. Bott, a daughter, Patricia Padgett, a sister, Mary Margaret Speer, three brothers; Robert, Bill, and Charles Johnson.
