K. Dale Low, 55, of North Vernon passed away suddenly at 4:35 PM Saturday, February 11, 2012 at St. Vincent - Jennings Hospital.
Born August 31, 1956, Dale was the son of Kenneth Ison and Sharon Lee Speer Low. He married Lisa Moore February 25, 1981.
Mr. Low graduated from Jennings County High School in 1974. He was currently employed at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center where he worked in maintenance. He had been employed by the State of Indiana for thirty-five years. He was a collector of Indian artifacts and antique trains. He also enjoyed gardening, canning, going to flea markets, watching his grandchildren's activities, and his two dogs, Lupe & Matilda.
Dale is survived by his wife, Lisa Low of North Vernon; father and step-mother, Kenneth and Joan Low of North Vernon; mother and step-father, Sharon and Kenny Craft of Dupont; one son, Gregory (Jamie) Low of Columbus; daughters, Kristi (Jason) Ashcraft and LeAnn (David) Mull of North Vernon; two sisters, Michelle (Randy) Duncial and Holly (Richard) Rothert of North Vernon; one step-sister, Kenda (Jeff) Webb of North Vernon; five grandchildren, Jacob, Isaac & Hanna Mull, and Claire & Madi Ashcraft of North Vernon.
He was preceded in death by a step-brother, Kenneth Junior Craft.
Funeral Information
A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service with Rev. Jonathan Meyer officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday and from 10:00 AM until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Mercy Rescue or St. Mary's Project Share through the funeral home.
