Mrs. Julia Anne Murray

Julia Anne Murray, 53 of North Vernon passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 4, 2011 at her residence.

Born February 9, 1958 in Columbus, Julia was the daughter of Roy Coulter and Janice Kay Hubbard Boyd. She married Ralph D. Murray Jr. in September 2008.
Julia enjoyed girl's days out with her mother and daughters and going to yard sales. She was an excellent interior decorator. Mrs. Murray was employed at Arrow Consulting Service where she was a loving caregiver. She was always willing to help anyone in any way she could.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph "Buster" Murray of North Vernon, mother, Kay (Rev. Dale) Boyd of North Vernon, two daughters, Elisa (Isaac) Fry and Lindsay Vanest of North Vernon, two grandsons, Seth and Jayson Fry, two brothers, Scott (Kelley) Coulter of Smyrna, TN and Troy Coulter of Hope, three step-sisters, Karen (Steve)Thayer of Scipio, Kathy (Robert) Hopkins of Scipio, and Kay (Bobby) Stearns of North Vernon, and a step-brother, Kevin Boyd of Aurora.

Julia was preceded in death by her father, Roy Coulter and a step-sister, Kim Foist.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Home in North Vernon with Rev. Alex McIntosh officiating. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service on Wednesday. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
