Judy Ann Meyer, 79, of North Vernon, passed away 1:13 a.m. on Friday, September 15, 2023, at Ascension St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

Cremation was chosen. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service are entrusted with the arrangements.

Born on March 2, 1944, in Greensburg, Judy was the loving daughter of William and Kathryn (Lee) Moore. She was united in marriage to John Meyer on November 23, 1962. He preceded her in death on February 12, 1978.

Judy had worked as a Home Health Care provider. She enjoyed crocheting and was quite the seamstress, having made and altered lots of wedding dresses over the years along with everything else including her children's clothes. She loved and cherished her dog Sassy.

Judy is survived by daughters, April (Scott) Taylor of North Vernon, Ruth Meyer of North Vernon, and Shirley Meyer of North Vernon; John "Kenny" Meyer of North Vernon; sisters, Norma Jean (Paul) Bacon of Upland, IN, and Barbara (Dale) Scott of Muncie; brother, Larry Moore; brother in law, Rev. John McKay of Columbus; grandchildren, Tonya Meza, Ronnie Wineinger, Steven Taylor, Chris Taylor, and Johnathan Taylor; great grandchildren, Adrianna Taylor, Elsie, Nora, and Emmett Wineinger, Byron, Aiden, and Bennett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Kathryn Moore; husband, John Meyer; sister, Bonnie McKay.
