Mrs. Judy K. Field

December 17, 1944 - August 28, 2009

Mrs. Judy K. Field, of North Vernon, passed from this life on August 28, 2009 at 11:04 P.M. at Jennings Health Care Center.

Born in Jennings County on December 17, 1944, Judy was the daughter of late George and Olive Hamilton. She married Melvin Field on March 2, 1963. He preceded her in death on April 26, 2004.

Judy had been a member of The New Frankfort Pentecostal Church and will be remembered as a great mother and grandmother. She enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley.

Mrs. Field is survived by her sons, William (Karen) Field of North Vernon, Gene (Kristi Wilkerson) Field of Butlerville and Larry Field of Texas; one brother Ed (Joyce) Hamilton of Commiskey, one sister Betty (Steve) Nolan of Seymour; and six grandchildren: Rachel Cummings, Beverly Vogel, Blake, Kayla, Abby and Karoline Field.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers; Bill Hamilton, Jim and Bob McNulty.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 1 P.M. at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin McIntosh officiating. Burial will be at Butlerville Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 A.M. until the time of service.
