Mrs. Juanita Ruthie Arthur

November 12, 1949 - February 12, 2009

Juanita "Ruthie" Arthur, 59, of North Vernon, passed away Thursday morning at her residence.

Born November 12, 1949, in Columbus, IN, she was the daughter of Les and Bessie Burton, they preceded her in death. She married Harold Arthur on December 10, 1981, her survives.

Mrs. Arthur was employed at Decatur Plastics in North Vernon, and had previously been employed at GE Sylvania and ITT Thompson. In her spare time she enjoyed going to auctions, yard work, and most of all raising her grandchild and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Arthur is survived by her husband, Harold Arthur, four children; Shari Burton, Lisa Bedel, Dennis Fortner and Daniel Plumm, a brother, Dale Burton, one sister, Evelyn Ashpaugh, all of North Vernon, twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Arthur was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters; Anna Mae Snyder, Cecil Marie Burton, and Ethel Lou Burton, six brothers; Lawrence, William "Bill", Kenny, Raymond, Jimmy and Ned Burton, and a son, Lyndel Riley Powers.

Funeral Information

At the request of Ruth there will be no viewing or funeral services. She asked for everyone to remember her in their hearts.
