Joshua Stidham, 39, of North Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at his residence.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 22nd at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rev. Jerry Byrd will officiate.  A Rosary service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, September 21st at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service.  Visitation will follow from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Born June 17, 1979, in Columbus, Joshua was the son of Stanley and Angela (Willis) Stidham.  He married LeAnn (Gerkin) Stidham on October 11, 2003.   She survives.

He graduated from Jennings County High School in 1997 and attended Purdue University.  He graduated from Ivy Tech with an associate degree in Information Technology.  He had previously worked for Faurecia as an IT data base engineer.  He currently was a stay-at-home dad caring for his growing family.

Joshua is survived by his mother, Angela Stidham of North Vernon; his wife, LeAnn Gerkin Stidham of North Vernon; three sons, Lucius, Lachlan and Seamus Stidham of North Vernon; daughter, Sloane Stidham of North Vernon; brother, Jonah (Crystal) Stidham of North Vernon; grandparents, Herbie and Kay Robbins of North Vernon; and uncle, Jeff (Lori) Stidham of Hayden.

He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Stidham.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Mary's School.
