Mr. John G Yeager

John G. Yeager, 67, of Columbus passed away at 9:45 pm Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

Born in Columbus, January 6, 1942, John was the son of Gilbert and Elsie Dudley Yeager. He graduated from Jennings County High School in 1960. He married Judith Day in 1961. John was a retired steam fitter, and he had worked for Dunlap Mechanical and a proud member of UA Local 440.

Mr. Yeager is survived by his wife, Judith Yeager of Columbus; one son, Kevin (Kathy) Todd Yeager of Nashville; one daughter, Kenya (Dale) Lee Blubaugh of Bloomington; one brother, Gary Yeager of Ocala, Fl; one sister, Yolanda Matthews of Indianapolis, and four grandchildren, Jakeb and Kaleb Blubaugh, and Dylan and Zane Yeager.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Joe and Greg Yeager.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
