Mr. John A. Arianoutsos

August 20, 1930 - May 13, 2013

John A. Arianoutsos, 82, passed away in California on May 13, 2013 with his family by his side.
Born in Paros, Greece he is survived by his wife of 58 years Donna Arianoutsos.
John graduated Indiana Institute of Technology, Fort Wayne IN with a BS in Civil Engineering and served in the Navy as a Seabee during the Korean War. John worked 21 years in Industry before becoming an entrepreneur. He Founded 4 different companies. At one company he developed an explosive technique still used in demolition today and at another played a pivotal role in the design and development of the Private Paytelephone Industry. His positive easy going attitude and smile will be remembered by all.
John was devoted to his family of 8 children, all surviving: Linda (Ron) Miller, Rita (Bob) Traxler, Tom ( Terri) Arianoutsos, Helen (Jerry) Funk, Grace Arianoutsos, Nancy (Roger) Jern, Steve (Anita) Arianoutsos and Lisa (Bill) Hopkins; 15 Grand Children: Gina Miller; Tom and Austin Arianoutsos; Elan Arianoutsos; Grant and Kristina Traxler; Brandon, Kyle, Sean, Jacob and Justin Jern; Joe, Ashley, Ryan and Daniel Hopkins; and 3 Sisters: Barbara Aliprantis, Calypso Karahalios and Margarita Besleme, deceased.

Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at St. Anne's Catholic Church with Rev. Jonathan Meyer officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 24th at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service in North Vernon. Interment will be at St. Anne's Cemetery.
