Joenelle Blythe Taylor, 75, of Scipio, IN, passed away at 6:25 a.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at her home.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2019, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service.  Rev. Don Asbury will officiate.  Burial will be in Scipio Cemetery.  Visitation will take place from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the funeral home.

Born August 16, 1943, in Tompkinsville, KY, Joenelle was the daughter of the late Jessie Frank and Fannie Blythe.  She married Edgar Dean Taylor on July 27, 1974.  He survives.

She was the youngest and last surviving of ten children including brothers, Grady, Joe, Roy and James Blythe; and sisters, Rose Earls, Roxie Emberton, Billie Dean Wright, Mary Winkler and Isabell Curtis.  Joenelle retired from General Motors in Indianapolis and was a member of Bible Baptist Church in North Vernon, IN.

She is survived by her husband, Edgar Dean Taylor of Scipio; her children, Debra (Charles) Finley of Scipio and Jeff (Kari) Taylor of Greenwood; her grandchildren, Jeremey and Amy Bell, Taylor and Tyler Finley and Brandon Taylor; and her great-grandchildren, Keegan Bell and Cody Boyer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings; and a daughter, Katheryne A. Stonebraker.
