Mrs. Joan Flinn

November 18, 1928 - July 27, 2008

Joan Flinn, 79, of Seymour passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at 3:30 AM at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

Born November 18, 1928 she was the daughter of Frank and Sarah Kennedy Burch. She later married Ralph Flinn whom survives.

Mrs. Flinn had been a member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Seymour and enjoyed homemaking and reading.

Joan is survived by her husband, three sons, Michael E. Flinn (Jo) of Zionsville, Patrick J. Flinn (Linda) of Seymour, and Kevin W. Flinn (Lisa) of W. Palm Beach, FL, a daughter, Kathy J. Rolfsen (Chris) of Greenwood, a brother, Robert Burch, five grandchildren, Christine, Alison, Craig, Meredith, and Kaitlin, and five great-grandchildren, Zach, Mitchell, Sam, Drew, and Greer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, John Burch, and four sisters, Mary Frances Burch, Rosie and Patty Proctor, and Ruthie Robinson.

Funeral Information

A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral Home with Father Todd Goodson officiating. Calling will be from noon until the time of service Tuesday.
