Jimmy Wayne Medlock, 65, of Columbus, passed away at 12:35 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Willow Crossing Health and Rehabilitation Center.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service. Rev. Frank McGee will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the start of the service on Saturday, December 17, 2022.

Born on May 13, 1957, in Topeka, KS, Jimmy was the loving son of John and Judy (Kremer) Medlock.

Jimmy was a supervisor at Celadon Logistics. He had attended Clemson University. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and playing golf. Jimmy liked to bowl and had participated in a bowling league.

Left to cherish his memories are his brother, Jerry Medlock of AL; and former wife, Sharon Medlock of Columbus.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, John and Judy Medlock; brothers, Johnny and Jeff Medlock.
